How to book a one hour wedding trip.
Most wedding vendors have minimums during peak wedding times as they get booked up 4-6 months in advance. The same applies for limousines. If having a limousine for your photos is not a priority, just needing a ride to the venue is all you’ll need, it is often a frustrating undertaking.
Calling 4, 5 or 6 months in advance, it is very likely that you wouldn’t be able to reserve just one hour on a busy weddingSaturday. As a bride (or groom), why should you book the minimum when you only need an hour. As Calgary’s largest limousine service, AMPM Limousines offers a few options for you.
If you’re needing a ride to the venue and then perhaps a Safe Ride Home at the end of the evening for your guests, a 3 hour package that is split into two segments is a great way to take advantage of our best pricing. Using one hour to get yourself to the venue & then 2 hours to shuttle your guests will utilize the package minimum quite nicely.
Another option, if it is just one hour you’re looking for, typically in the 2-3 weeks leading up to your wedding, the larger time blocks are booked and the times are set, there are gaps in the schedule that we can then accommodate that 1 hour trip.
In Calgary, you will find most limousine companies will not allow the split or be able to accommodate the single hour booking. It is important that the company you are booking with will provide you with those details in writing, as the last thing you want is a call the day before, that they are unable to pick you up on your important day.
