Tip: When a group of people are sharing the cost of a limousine, make sure you collect enough to cover overtime or damages so you are not stuck bearing the costs alone.
Bob has driven his fair share of large groups, smaller parties and even just town car service but this large group was a little bit rowdy by comparison.
At the end of their trip, one of the group lost their cell phone between the seat and the wall of the party bus. After several minutes of trying to fish it out, the group let Bob know the situation. He pulled over and was also trying to find a way to get it out. Being unsuccessful, Bob called dispatch to find out an easy way to remove the seat to retrieve it. A few moments into the conversation, the desperate party-goer ripped the seat of the wall of the bus leaving the bus completely unsafe to continue to operate that evening.
The group left the bus and Bob returned to the yard to have the bus inspected. Years of experience for the owners, they knew that this would be an expensive repair. Upon receiving a quote the next day for repair, the cardholder was charged for the full amount of the repair, and it most certainly would not be easy to collect that from friends later.
